Job Title: (USA) Senior Meat Cutter at Sam's Club

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat types and seasonality, equipment usage, backroom operations, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment as needed.
  3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions, training, and quality assurance, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
  4. Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work areas, ensure high-quality products, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high-quality service, interact with associates to understand and address roadblocks, and assist in training.
  6. Compliance and Work Priorities: Follow company policies, execute work efficiently, collaborate with managers and partners, communicate progress, and adapt to feedback and change.
  7. Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, foster a workplace of belonging, support and develop team members, and create opportunities for all to thrive.
