Role Overview

Packaging Machine Operators set up, operate, and maintain machinery in a manufacturing environment. They ensure machines produce high-quality products efficiently and are properly maintained.

Shift Details

1st Shift - Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

• One Saturday shift per month

Key Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment following quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor product flow and control operations.
• Conduct testing and provide samples for quality assurance.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Wear appropriate safety and sanitation clothing.
• Report safety or quality issues promptly.
• Ensure documentation and programs are up to date.
• Stand, reach, and use hands regularly during work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with filling machines preferred
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
