Grind Floor Machine Operators - All Shifts

As a Grind Floor Machine Operator, you will produce precision bearing components used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment for the U.S. Military.

15% shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

On a typical day as a Grind Floor Machine Operator, you will:

• Produce quality parts based on order priorities
• Complete machine set-ups
• Load materials and change tooling and attachments as needed
• Maintain necessary paperwork
• Perform mathematical calculations for machine operation and materials
• Ensure all safety rules and regulations are followed

Machine operators will use equipment such as centerless grinders, external/internal grinders, face lap and face grind machines, bore and OD hone machines, among others.

Skills required for Machine Operators include:

• Previous manufacturing and machinery experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a machinist is desirable
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to diagnose machine problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to use or quickly learn specialized tools
• Basic math skills and understanding of the metric system
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs routinely
