Ball Plant Machine Operators - All Shifts

Join our team at NHBB as a Machine Operator in our Ball Plant, working across all shifts. Be among the first 25 applicants to apply!

Position: Ball Plant - Tool Room - Tool Refurbish Operators

Manufacturing products that matter! As a Grind Floor Machine Operator, you will produce precision bearing components used in aircraft engines, aircraft structures, and defense equipment for the U.S. Military.

We offer a 15% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

On a typical day, as a Machine Operator in the Ball Plant / Tool Room / Tool Refurbish, you will:

1. Produce quality parts based on order priorities
2. Complete machine set-ups
3. Load materials and change tooling and attachments as needed
4. Maintain necessary paperwork
5. Perform mathematical calculations for machine and materials
6. Follow all safety rules and regulations

Your responsibilities will include operating various machines, gauging and measuring with hand tools, and other related equipment.

Skills required for Machine Operators include:

• Previous experience in manufacturing and machinery is preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a machinist is advantageous
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Ability to diagnose machine problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to use or learn to use specialized tools
• Basic math skills and understanding of the metric system
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs
