A leading company in the retail sector is seeking a Store Manager who can effectively lead and develop high-performing teams while driving store financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, operational management, and leadership. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives such as store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and fosters a workplace culture of belonging. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and measuring progress towards goals. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health, financial, paid time off, and other perks. The position salary range is $65,000.00-$80,000.00 plus potential bonuses and location-based pay adjustments.
2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For ammunition-only facilities with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
