Tours stores and provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs to ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to enhance customer experience.
Drives financial performance by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions. Ensures compliance with company policies, supports the company mission and values, and promotes a culture of belonging and integrity. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and fosters a workplace where associates feel supported and valued.

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
