Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do...

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introducing and leading change efforts; providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions; and communicating business objectives to teams.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed, developing action plans to improve service quality.
  • Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory, and developing strategies to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Supervises and develops hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and setting expectations; fostering a culture of belonging and growth.
  • Coordinates activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, setting goals, and measuring progress.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, supports Walmart's mission and values, and promotes ethics and integrity.
  • Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates an inclusive workplace.
  • Acts with integrity, maintains high ethical standards, and models Walmart values.
  • Delivers results with a customer-first approach, making data-driven decisions, and balancing priorities.
  • Encourages continuous learning, innovation, and resilience.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, benefits including health, 401(k), stock purchase, paid time off, education programs, and more. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional bonuses based on performance and location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years’ college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of background checks for firearms-related positions, and attendance at job-specific training.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in related fields, and experience supervising teams of 5 or more.
