Walmart seeks a Store Manager to lead and develop teams while driving store performance. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, communicates consistently and effectively, and promotes a belonging mindset. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability. Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, demonstrates adaptability, and promotes continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, supports the Open Door Policy, and provides guidance on applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus differential where applicable, with additional performance bonuses and potential regional pay zone adjustments.
2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through the same programs. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
