A leading retail company is seeking a Store Manager to drive sales and enhance customer service. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals for the business area. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a culture of belonging, awareness, and development to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting the Open Door Policy and guiding others in applying these principles in business practices.

Minimum qualifications include:
Additional requirements for facilities selling firearms or ammunition include background checks, certifications, and training as applicable. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, a certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports with responsibilities in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
