The role involves leading and developing teams through effective teaching, training, active listening, store tours, and providing feedback. Responsibilities include communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position also entails introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations, and implementing business solutions to communicate business objectives effectively.
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs. Develop and implement action plans to address deficiencies and improve processes for a high-quality customer experience.
Drive financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop action plans to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, and recognizing contributions. Ensure diversity and inclusion are prioritized in staffing and development.
Coordinate activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting accountability and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity, supporting the Open Door Policy.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differentials, with potential additional bonuses and pay zone adjustments based on location.
