Walmart is seeking a dedicated Store Manager who will lead teams and drive financial performance at our Elk River location. This role involves developing associates through effective management and enhancing customer service standards, while also focusing on business objectives and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and significant supervisory experience, ensuring a thriving workplace culture that supports diversity and community engagement.
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Builds relationships with key stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and measures progress towards goals. Identifies improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, supports the Open Door Policy, and guides team members in applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differentials, with additional compensation for performance and location-based factors.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. General work experience supervising teams.
