Walmart is seeking a Store Manager in Livonia, MI, responsible for leading teams and driving financial performance while ensuring excellent customer service. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community and outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies and communicates goals, measures progress, and addresses improvement opportunities. Demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, supports the Open Door Policy, and guides teams in applying these principles in business processes.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college or equivalent experience, supervisory experience, or general work experience with supervisory roles. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of background checks and training is required. Associates must attend and complete all required training and assessments.
The preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related experience supervising multiple direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
