Position Summary: Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, such as store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, demonstrates adaptability, and promotes continuous learning.
Ensures compliance with company policies, supports the mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards, and implements related action plans. Builds high-performing teams, embraces diversity, and creates a workplace of belonging. Acts with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and supports Walmart’s culture and environmental initiatives.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and possibly regional pay zones based on location.
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. Certain positions may require background checks and specific certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certifications in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising multiple direct reports in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
