Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do...Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, operational processes, and develops action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and fostering a culture of belonging. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity. Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, creates a workplace of support and connection, and attracts and retains talent. Acts with integrity, maintains high standards of ethics, and supports Walmart's mission and values. Serves customers and members by delivering results, considering customer shopping behaviors, and applying business models. Strives for excellence through continuous learning, adopting new technologies, and encouraging innovation.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock purchase plans, paid time off, and other benefits. The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and regional pay zones based on location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-related positions, successful completion of background checks and training is required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related fields, certificates in People and Business Leadership, experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
