Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tours stores and provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, recognizes associates, and fosters a culture of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs. Builds accountability, measures progress, and promotes continuous learning and improvement.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding teams in applying these principles.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health, financial, paid time off, and other perks. The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus applicable differentials, with additional compensation based on performance, location, and position specifics.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
