What you'll do... Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community outreach programs. Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved, develops action plans to correct deficiencies, and leads process improvements for a high-quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance by reviewing profit/loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements actions to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, fosters a culture of belonging, and recruits qualified staff to meet staffing needs and growth targets.
Builds relationships with stakeholders, supports plans and initiatives, and promotes accountability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with policies, supports Walmart's mission, and fosters a culture of integrity and ethics.
Creates a workplace where associates feel supported and included, attracts and retains talent, and acts with integrity and humility. Delivers results with a customer-first mindset, makes data-driven decisions, and encourages continuous improvement and adaptation.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zones.
2 years of college, or 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work with 1 year supervisory experience. For firearms-related roles, successful completion of background checks and training is required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor's in Business Management and Leadership, or certificates in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5+ direct reports in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
