Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; is flexible to the needs of the business, maintaining in‑stock levels and controlling shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Plans the bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs following recipe measurement instructions; works with a variety of products to decorate items and ensures adherence to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain, inventory management, equipment sanitation and product layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training and product quality.
• Be an Owner: Drives performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, preparing for seasonal events and identifying member needs. Assists members with purchasing decisions and resolves member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the bakery and modeling high‑quality service; collaborates with associates to understand obstacles and assists in training, influencing and inspiring them.
• Maintain company policies and standards of ethics, integrity, and the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments using policies, data, resources and collaboration, setting priorities, deadlines and communicating progress.

Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may be paid as premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
