Job description

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools and resources, provide excellent customer service, maintain inventory levels and control shrinkage.
• Plan bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, following recipe measurement instructions, and working with a variety of products.
• Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management while operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support production, merchandise ordering, and training decisions.
• Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, preparing for seasonal events, and assisting members with purchasing decisions and resolving member issues.
• Act as a talent ambassador by valuing the member experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, and supporting training, influencing, and inspiring associates.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and implement related action plans.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers to meet deadlines and improve processes.
• Respect the individual, embrace diversity, and build strong, trusting relationships within a culture of belonging.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Additional compensation: premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
