Job description

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member: collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate and develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, maintain inventory levels and control shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert: plan bakery productions ensuring consistency and quality of decorative designs, follow recipe measurement instructions, decorate various products (bags, tips, nozzles), obey food safety and sanitation guidelines, manage cold chain compliance, inventory, and equipment sanitation.
  • Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, use handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, training, and quality decisions.
  • Be an Owner: drive bakery area performance, maintain quality and date control standards, reduce waste, prepare for seasonal events (holidays, graduations, family events), identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate the brand by valuing the member experience, model high‑quality service, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and inspire them to work respectfully, supportively, and team‑oriented.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
  • Complete work assignments and prioritize using company policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities, adapting to change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

6 Months’ experience in a Fresh Production Area. Must be 18 years of age or older.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
