Sage seeks a Senior Privacy Counsel to build and lead the US privacy program, focusing on product development and engineering, sales and marketing, and cross-border data transfer matters. You will partner with Product, Legal, and regional teams to advance privacy by design and manage privacy risk.

You will advise on incidents, help develop policies and training, and coordinate with the Commercial and Product & Technology Legal teams while navigating US federal and state regimes.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified lawyer with post- qualification privacy expertise across US federal and state regimes.
• Experience advising corporate organisations, preferably in-house.
• Strong ability to build a US privacy program and partner across teams.

• Build Sage's US privacy programme from the ground up and scale as the business grows.
• Partner with Product, engineering, sales and marketing, influencing decisions with privacy by design.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues and external counsel on privacy matters and incidents.
• Contribute to policy development and creating external-facing privacy notices and consents.
• Lead horizon scanning to adapt to fast-changing privacy environments.
