Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy Compliance to lead the ongoing maturation of our global privacy program. You will collaborate with Legal, Product, and Engineering to translate regulations into practical policies and scalable workflows.

You will own and evolve the DSR and worker privacy programs across the US and globally, leveraging innovative tooling and risk-based approaches to support AI-driven products and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of US privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA) and familiarity with GDPR/PIPEDA.
• Experience building or maturing privacy programs.
• Technologically adept with AI and emerging tech.
• Comfort collaborating with engineers on data flows and system design.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into scalable policies and playbooks.
• Learning mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
• JD and active US State Bar membership.
• Concise and efficient communicator.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted privacy subject matter expert to cross-functional teams and provide actionable guidance and advice to enable smart risk.
• Manage Intuit’s worker privacy program, including governance, workflows, and compliance with CCPA’s automated decision making regulations.
• Own and evolve Intuit’s data subject rights (DSR) compliance program across the US and globally, ensuring processes meet requirements under CCPA/US state privacy laws, GDPR, and other applicable international frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement of privacy compliance tooling and processes, including automation opportunities for PIAs, risk assessments, and DSR fulfillment.
• Advise on the application of privacy-by-design principles to new and evolving technologies.
• Translate complex and changing privacy regulations into practical, scalable policies, frameworks, and training for cross-functional partners.
• Monitor the global regulatory landscape, including emerging AI-specific privacy and data protection laws, and translate developments into program updates.
• Build strong working relationships across Legal, Product, Engineering, and Business teams, and drive alignment across competing points of view to reach practical outcomes.
