Job summary

Morpho is seeking a senior regulatory engagement professional to lead the US policy pipeline for onchain lending. You will track rulemakings, draft letters, and coordinate with agency staff, Congress, and coalitions while guiding external counsel.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will own the process end-to-end from tracking to submissions and meetings. You will build relationships with regulators, staff, and industry coalitions, ensuring timely, accurate policy positions and clear,

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years working on SEC or CFTC matters across agencies or law firms.
• Strong knowledge of securities/commodities law and rulemaking process.
• Excellent writing demonstrated in letters or regulatory submissions.
• Existing relationships with agency staff or coalitions.
• Ability to explain onchain lending to non-technical audiences.
• Judgment to prepare positions for sign-off.
• Autonomy and proactive work style.
• Strong async communication across teams in Paris, New York and DC.
• Comfort in fast-changing, ambiguous contexts.
• Team-first mindset with low ego.

Responsibilities

• Track rulemakings, guidance, staff statements and enforcement relevant to onchain lending.
• Lead drafting of comment letters and regulatory submissions for General Counsel sign-off.
• Prepare and lead agency meetings with briefing materials and talking points.
• Represent Morpho in trade associations and coalitions; coordinate input for filings.
• Engage congressional offices and staff on legislation and its implementation.
• Manage outside policy counsel and consultants: scope, deliverables, spend.
• Brief leadership and product teams on US policy developments with concise updates.
