Job summary

Morpho is a leading DeFi lending protocol seeking a strategic role to expand into additional credit markets. The role will decide which markets Morpho pursues, define what each market demands, and sequence activities to maximize impact.

You will coordinate across protocol, engineering, partnerships, marketing and legal to ship new loan categories. The position requires experience in crypto/fintech, regulatory awareness, and a proven ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

• Proven track record taking products from zero to one in greenfield markets.
• Experience in crypto, traditional finance, or fintech.
• Experience shipping products with regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in highly ambiguous environments.
• Fast synthesis, with the ability to ramp on unfamiliar industries and markets quickly.
• Team-first mindset, low ego.

Responsibilities

• Own Morpho's strategy for expanding into new credit markets, sizing and sequencing opportunities.
• Size net new markets including custodied Bitcoin, tokenized equities, undercollateralized credit, credit card receivables.
• Build and run processes to surface institutions' needs across use cases and industries.
• Work with protocol, engineering, solutions, partnerships, marketing and legal to decide build vs. partner.
• Design and run proofs of concept with new counterparty types and scale successful models.
• Map regulatory and registration requirements for new markets.
