Job summary

Morpho is a leading DeFi lending protocol expanding into new credit markets. This role defines which markets Morpho pursues, what each market demands, and how to reach them. It sits at the intersection of product, partnerships, and compliance to drive adoption.

As Morpho scales, this leader will prioritize opportunities, collaborate with engineering and legal, and ship multiple new loan categories while navigating regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record taking products from zero to one in new markets.
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or finance with understanding of credit markets.
• Experience delivering products under regulatory/compliance constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar industries and markets.
• Team-first mindset with low ego.

Responsibilities

• Own Morpho's strategy to expand into new credit markets and size/sequences opportunities.
• Quantify markets like custodied Bitcoin, tokenized equities, undercollateralized credit, and card receivables.
• Develop processes to surface institution needs across use cases and industries.
• Collaborate across protocol, engineering, partnerships, marketing and legal to decide build vs partner.
• Design and run proof-of-concepts with new counterparty types and scale successful models.
• Map regulatory and registration requirements for each new market and sequence opportunities.
