Job summary

Lydech, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead all U.S. payroll operations for roughly 1,000 employees, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing. You will oversee payroll systems, establish best-practice processes, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

Responsibilities include multi-state payroll strategy, tax reporting, SOX controls, end-to-end payroll processing, vendor management (ADP, Workday), and driving continuous improvement across payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field; 5+ years leading payroll operations in a multi-state environment.
• 5+ years ensuring compliance with wage, tax, and labor laws; governance, controls, audits and SOX compliance.
• 5+ years experience with enterprise payroll/timekeeping systems (ADP required; Workday preferred).
• 5+ years experience managing vendor/third-party relationships and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute payroll strategy for multi-state U.S. operations for ~1,000 employees; ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws, tax reporting, labor regulations, and SOX/operational controls.
• Oversee biweekly payroll processing for U.S. associates; manage wage payments, tax withholdings, deductions, bonuses, and benefits contributions.
• Lead training and develop payroll KPIs; monitor payroll metrics for accuracy and efficiency.
