Bentley Mills, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll operations for the United States, supporting ~450 employees across multiple states.

This position requires strong ADP Workforce Now experience, meticulous data handling, and a proven ability to manage complex payroll processes with a focus on compliance. The role reports to Finance and partners with HR and operations to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing, audits, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive payroll experience.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with multi-state manufacturing payroll.
• Strong Excel skills and data integrity.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bi-weekly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees.
• Administer payroll for ~450 employees across departments and locations.
• Process commissions, bonuses, incentive pay, and other compensation.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and analyses for management and auditors.
• Lead payroll system enhancements and process improvements.
• Respond to payroll inquiries with confidentiality.
