Job summary

Jobot is seeking a US Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage multi-state payroll using UKG Pro, payroll tax and 401(k) functions onsite in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The role covers W-2 year-end, benefits enrollment, and coordination with Finance.

Requires CPP, 3+ years US payroll, California payroll knowledge, and strong Excel skills. This full-time onsite position offers an opportunity to own US payroll processes and work with HR, Finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of U.S. payroll processing experience.
• Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management.
• Experience with California payroll rules (FLSA, tax, 401(k)).
• Strong Excel skills and Outlook proficiency.
• Onsite work in Rancho Dominguez, CA, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state U.S. payroll using UKG Pro and WFM.
• Audit timecards, regular wages, overtime, and 401(k) contributions.
• Manage year-end payroll, W-2 generation, and annual rate configurations.
• Maintain employee data, banking information, W-4s, paygroups, and deductions.
• Coordinate payroll funding and journal entries with Finance; prepare payroll analytics.
