Jobot is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage U.S. payroll and benefits across multiple sites from Lynwood, CA. You will own the end-to-end process using UKG Pro and UKG WFM, ensuring timely pay, accurate records, and compliant practices.

Responsibilities include timecard review, benefits administration, payroll tax reconciliation, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and managers. A CPP designation and a college degree are preferred, with potential for a discretionary

• Manage U.S. payroll across multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage/hour laws.
• Administer employee benefits and 401(k) contributions.
• Reconcile payroll taxes and year-end processes.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, managers, and employees.

Responsabilidades

• Process multi-state payroll using UKG Pro and UKG WFM, including CA payroll, overtime, bonuses, vacation pay, adjustments, and deductions.
• Review timecards, troubleshoot timekeeping issues, and support managers with UKG approvals.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Administer benefits and retirement plan processes, including enrollments and deductions.
• Reconcile reports and support audits and compliance testing.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and new-year rate updates.
• Answer employee questions about pay, timekeeping, benefits, and tax forms.
• Build payroll reports and coordinate with audits and testing.
• Coordinate with Canadian payroll counterpart for backup.
