Qualifications

• 2+ years analyzing power markets in research, consulting, trading, or utilities.
• Know how at least one US power market clears energy and ancillary services (ERCOT/CAISO/SPP) and can explain differences.
• Follow policy and market-rule changes and back opinions with evidence.
• Pull and analyze data in SQL and Python; not necessarily a software engineer.

Responsibilities

• Cover US markets; publish monthly revenue reviews and quarterly outlooks.
• Keep forecast inputs current: asset counts, demand growth, fuel costs, rule changes.
• Develop market views; explain implications for revenues and development risk.
• Represent markets to clients on calls, workshops, and industry events.
• Collaborate with Modeling, Advisory, Revenue teams to integrate research into forecasts.
• Learn to build analysis end to end using SQL, Python, and AI tools.
