Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced Manager to lead the Energy Market Analysis - ERCOT team. You will work with senior leadership to drive growth and provide expert guidance across services in ERCOT markets.

Responsibilities include conducting congestion analyses, leading LMP studies, and advising on market design while collaborating with clients and industry groups. Remote US work with occasional travel, and a strong emphasis on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years in electric energy; power flow modeling and transmission planning.
• Experience with various market structures (PJM, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, CAISO).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficient with analytical tools.
• Knowledge of ERCOT market and ability to leverage AI responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct congestion and basis risk analyses for ERCOT projects.
• Perform financial, commercial, and engineering due diligence on projects.
• Lead transmission load flow and LMP analyses.
• Forecast FTRs, forward prices, congestion, curtailments, and LMP spreads.
• Collaborate across EPE teams on market trends and regulatory changes.
