Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup in the United States is seeking a US Training Manager to develop and implement a standardized onboarding, training, and workforce development strategy for hourly and production teams across WireCo's U.S. operations.

The role partners with Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, HR, Safety, and Quality to ensure employees are effectively onboarded and trained, so they perform safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, HR, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and implementing training, onboarding, or workforce capability programs in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong understanding of adult learning, structured on‑the‑job training, and employee qualification processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve a standardized onboarding and training framework for hourly and production staff.
• Partner with Plant Managers, Operations Leaders, HR, Safety, and Quality to ensure effective onboarding and training.
• Develop cross-training matrices and qualification standards for hourly team members.
• Create trainer programs and establish trainer qualifications; deliver training in English and Spanish.
• Measure onboarding effectiveness using retention, time‑to‑proficiency, and performance indicators.
• Travel to U.S. manufacturing/distribution locations 30–40% as needed.
