Job summary

WireCo is seeking a Production Operator to set up and run production machines, ensuring product quality and safety. You will work in Spooling, Stranding or Closing areas, loading materials, adjusting equipment, and recording process data.

This role includes a 90-day probationary period with a monthly incentive program and day-one benefits. You may train on the day shift or a weekend schedule after onboarding, reflecting the company’s manufacturing focus in Sedalia, MO.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to follow written instructions.
• Basic math ability and mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to learn to use micrometers, tape measures and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load and operate production machines to meet specifications.
• Record set-up information at start of each order.
• Thread machines, adjust tension and dies, and ensure safety.
• Inspect equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• May train on the Day Shift for 3–4 weeks or Weekend Shift as needed.
• Monthly incentive payments after probationary period.
