Job summary

Ferring Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Incentive Compensation to own the end-to-end US IC program for field-based teams in Parsippany, NJ.

The role leads plan design, payout administration, annual awards contests and governance, partnering with Sales, Finance, HR and Compliance. The position directs external vendors and consultants, ensuring plans are fiscally responsible, motivational, and easy to understand for all field employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct incentive compensation experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech or life sciences.
• 3+ years of sales analytics, sales operations or consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales incentive theory and its practical application, including goal-based, commission and MBO plan types.
• Experience designing IC plans across the product lifecycle, from launch to mature brands.
• Working knowledge of healthcare compliance considerations as they apply to field incentives.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; comfort working with large sales and alignment datasets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IC calculation, validation and reporting with vendor support.
• Manage pre- and post-payout adjustments and data analyses.
• Prepare payroll submissions through approval chains.
• Manage IC budget and forecast and inform Finance of changes.
• Interface with IT and data teams for data governance and alignment.
• Lead IC plan design across business units and roles from launch to mature brands.
• Assess plan effectiveness and propose changes with budget simulations.
• Own goal-setting strategy and benchmarking to stay market-competitive.
• Maintain IC Governance, SOPs, policies and approval logs.
