Job summary

Kaplan International Pathways, a division of Kaplan Inc., seeks a High School Relationship & Recruitment Manager to lead US high school engagement for UK university partners. You will manage counsellor relationships, design recruitment plans, and travel across the Northeast USA to drive application volumes.

The role requires strong recruitment experience, excellent presentation skills, and a proven ability to build credible relationships with counselors and administrators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of experience in student recruitment, college admissions, school partnerships, or related relationship-management/sales role.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting within US high school networks, ideally private schools.
• Track record of meeting recruitment or sales targets.
• Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills with US high school counselors and administrators.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a large, dispersed portfolio.
• Ability to travel frequently (regional/national).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel by car/air.

Responsibilities

• Recruit U.S. high school students into undergraduate and pathway programs at Kaplan's UK partner universities.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of high school relationships (counsellors, college advisors, administrators) across an assigned U.S. territory.
• Design and execute a territory recruitment strategy with school visits, fairs, and events.
• Build Kaplan's brand credibility among high school counsellors as a trusted information source.
• Identify and cultivate new high school partnerships to expand UK-bound recruitment network.
• Advise students and families on the UK application process and life at partner universities.
• Guide applicants through the journey from interest to enrolment at UK partners.
• Meet and exceed recruitment, conversion, and enrolment targets within the territory.
• Document school visits and communications in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with admissions, marketing, and visa advising teams for a seamless experience.
• Represent Kaplan at college fairs and events (NACAC, ACAC).
• Track territory performance and recruitment pipeline for leadership.
