You will conduct market research, reach industry networks, and promote the company brand while establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Frequent travel to conferences and client sites is expected as you support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or related field.
• 3+ years in pharma/biotech with BD experience in customer/research organization sector.
• Excellent technical, negotiation and selling skills in pharma/biotech industries.
• Maintains an extensive established network of personal, scientific and business contacts.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual expansion plan based on strategic objectives.
• Expand clients, continuously develop new clients, and help new clients understand the company's business.
• Identify, develop and execute opportunities in pharma/biotech, focusing on US bio-hubs.
• Collaborate with BD colleagues to derive and execute roadmaps for engaging with clients.
• Identify viable short and long term business opportunities and convert them into revenue.
• This position is USA-based, with frequent business travel for client visits and conferences.
