Job summary

Wahed is seeking an experienced Country Head to lead the growth of our US operations. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic plans to increase market share, expand the customer base, and enhance product offerings in the region.

The ideal candidate will excel in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory compliance, delivering reports to the C-suite on performance and key metrics.

Qualifications

• Extensive fintech or financial services leadership experience.
• Proven ability to launch and scale operations in new markets.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated leadership across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of local US regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance; MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of Shariah-compliant investing is a plus.
• Experience leading diverse teams.
