Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking an Area Sales Leader for Monarch Urology to drive commercialization across KS, OK, MO, AR, KY, TN and North MS. This field-based role emphasizes building relationships with physicians and economic buyers and leading product demonstrations.

You will develop quarterly business plans, coordinate post‑sale support, and collaborate with Clinical Representatives to expand Monarch Urology adoption while navigating a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years in healthcare/medical device sales; 4+ years for senior placement.
• 2+ years of capital equipment or complex medical sales is preferred.
• Ability to learn and communicate technical product information to physicians and economic buyers.
• Strong business planning, forecasting, opportunity management, and account strategy skills.
• Experience in urology, robotics, or operating room‑based selling preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% in the territory.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quarterly business plans to achieve capital system sales, procedure growth, and disposable revenue targets.
• Build and maintain a strategic territory plan with segmentation, funnel management, and forecast updates.
• Develop relationships with physicians, nurses, administrators, value analysis stakeholders, and economic buyers to understand needs and funding pathways.
• Lead product, technical, and clinical discussions to support evaluation, conversion, and adoption of Monarch Urology.
• Present value propositions and collaborate on pricing and program terms to support customer outcomes.
• Coordinate post‑sale installation readiness, training, launch support, and adoption with Clinical Representatives and partners.
• Support customers in achieving clinical, operational, and economic goals while driving long‑term utilization.
