United Medical Systems is seeking a Urology Scrub Technician to support ureteroscopy and laser procedures in a mobile healthcare setting. The role includes equipment setup, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and inventory policies.

Candidates should have OR training or certification, plus experience in urology; Holmium laser experience is a plus. Duties include scheduling coordination, manual updates, and maintaining equipment for safe patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Must have OR experience or strong OR training.
• Urology experience is preferred for procedural familiarity.
• Experience with Holmium laser systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform procedures following Laser protocols.
• Move and set up ureteroscopy/laser equipment in OR prior to procedures.
• Assist Urologist in ureteroscopy and laser procedures.
• Report to facility 60 minutes prior to start of the procedure.
• Submit complete and legible treatment/billing logs per HIPAA policies.
• Review and maintain inventory of cystoscopy supplies.
• Contact facilities to confirm schedule and start times.
• Maintain an after-hours contact at each facility for emergencies.
• Maintain relationships with physician partners.
• Maintain Policies & Procedure Manuals, updating before inspections.
• Keep equipment and supplies clean and transport-ready.
• Notify service engineer of any malfunctioning equipment.
• Laser Specialist will wear a company name badge on premises.
