Job summary

UniTek Global Services in Florence, SC is hiring a Cable Installer to install, upgrade and repair residential cable products and services. You will handle service calls, diagnose issues and ensure customers receive quality, on-time installations.

This role requires physical stamina, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Overtime may be available, and you will report to dispatch following company procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic command of English to understand safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and repair cable products as assigned.
• Service and troubleshoot cable products and installations.
• Handle customer questions and develop effective solutions.
• Complete work orders and obtain signatures for accurate billing.
• Ensure installation work meets quality standards and safety policies.
• Report to dispatch according to company procedures.
• Assist with work overflow and follow all company policies.
• Adhere to safety policy and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Serve customers and perform installations. This position will install, upgrade and repair residential cable products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade and repair cable products
• Service and trouble-shoot cable products
• Handle all customer complaints, questions and develop solutions
• Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
• Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
• Report to dispatch according to company procedures
• Assist with work overflow
• Follow all company policy and procedures
• Adhere to safety policy
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Range:

$15.00 to $20.00 per hour, based upon geography, skills, and experience.
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state laws.
