Job summary

CUI Cable Services in Maryville, TN is seeking a hands-on Cable Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems for residential and commercial customers.

You will perform service upgrades and audits, educate customers, and manage tools, inventory, and work orders, while promoting safety and quality standards. A valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous cable, fiber, or broadband installation experience required.
• Comfortable with tools and hands-on problem solving.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work at heights (ladders up to 30 ft).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

What You'll Do

As a Cable Technician, you'll be the face of CUI in the field - delivering reliable, high-quality service directly to customers.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair internet, cable TV, phone, and alarm systems
• Perform service upgrades, relocations, and audits at residential and commercial locations
• Ensure every installation meets quality, safety, and customer experience standards
• Educate customers on their services and equipment
• Manage and maintain your company vehicle, tools, and inventory
• Accurately complete work orders, documentation, and time reporting
