Job summary

UniTek Global Services, Inc. is hiring a residential Cable Installer in Florence, SC. You will install, upgrade and repair cable products, service and troubleshoot customer systems, and ensure accurate billing with signed work orders.

You must follow safety policies and company procedures, handle escalations, and contribute to on-site efficiency. The role requires physical capability and basic English for safety requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Serve customers and perform installations. This position will install, upgrade and repair residential cable products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade and repair cable products
• Service and trouble-shoot cable products
• Handle all customer complaints, questions and develop solutions
• Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
• Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
• Report to dispatch according to company procedures
• Assist with work overflow
• Follow all company policy and procedures
• Adhere to safety policy
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Range:

$15.00 to $20.00 per hour, based upon geography, skills, and experience.
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state laws.

• Must be able to frequently lift 70 lbs. climb heights and work inside attics & crawl spaces
• One year customer experience
• Must have a basic command of the English language to understand the safety requirements of the position
• Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment testing (MVR, drug, and background)
• Valid driver's license
• The ideal candidate will live within a 30-mile radius of our office
