Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a PRN urgent care professional to provide emergent care under physician/NP/PA oversight at the Erie Nine Mile Med Center. The role is onsite with days shifts and hourly pay of $21.49–$27.94, depending on experience.

No hybrid or remote options. Key duties include streaming patient flow, preparing patients for examination, and supporting providers with procedures while maintaining rooms and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or GED.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; card valid through hire and renewals.
• One of CMA, RMA, state EMT/EMT-I/Paramedic licensure or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of patients in the department to optimize throughput and inform patients of delays.
• Observe patients and alert provider or RN if distress is observed; prepare patients for examination and assist during and after.
• Inserts Foley catheters, performs complex splinting, and performs venipuncture for blood draws or saline lock insertion.
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms and equipment; manage supplies and restock as directed.
• Act with critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
