UCHealth is seeking a PRN Emergency Urgent Care professional in Loveland, CO to provide emergent/urgent patient care under physician and nursing supervision. This onsite role has a days shift with pay $21.49 - $27.94 per hour, reflecting experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, preparing patients for exams, and performing venipuncture and Foley catheter insertions while maintaining rooms and supplies. Requires high school diploma or GED and BLS certification.

Qualificações

• BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross, card in-hand before start date.
• IV proficiency per department guidelines within 6 months.
• One of CMA, RMA, or state licensure as EMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic; completion of military medic course (no renewal required); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate flow of patients in the department to optimize throughput and inform patients of delays.
• Observe patients and notify provider or RN if distress is detected; prepare patient for examination and assist during and after.
• Inserts Foley catheter, performs complex splinting, and venipuncture for drawing blood or saline lock insertion.
• Maintain exam and treatment rooms, clean equipment, and manage supply levels; order supplies as directed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
