Job summary

VillageMD seeks a Scribe Tech to accurately document patient visits in the EMR and assist physicians with basic care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will help manage patient flow, inventory, and lab follow-ups while upholding DOH compliance and patient-service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; undergraduate degree a plus.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy certifications a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits into the EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure DOH regulatory compliance for site labs.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining quality under high volume.
