VillageMD is seeking a Scribe Tech to accurately document patient visits in the EMR and assist physicians with basic care and procedures. You will help manage patient flow, labs, and inventory while delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

This role offers valuable exposure to healthcare operations, DOH compliance, and strong teamwork. Candidates with Medical Assisting or phlebotomy background and BLS are encouraged to apply; bilingual skills may be needed at some

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy certs a plus; training provided.
• Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner.
• Flexibility for full-time including weekend day.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• English language skills required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer proficiency.
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Bilingual skills depending on site location.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Document patient visits accurately in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist physician with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory and follow up on labs.
• Ensure lab compliance with DOH regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient service per established protocols.
