Summit Health Management is seeking a part-time Scribe for an Urgent Care in Short Hills, NJ. You will support clinicians, document patient encounters, and help keep the workflow fast and accurate.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, excellent typing (45 wpm), strong communication, and a patient-friendly demeanor. Bilingual skills are a plus and required in some sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong bedside manner and professional demeanor.
• Typing at least 45 wpm and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, aiming to manage two to four patients per hour.
• Maintain a fast pace in a busy urgent care setting (8–12 hour shifts).
• Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals via Aftercare.
• Provide compassionate patient care under physician supervision.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care setup.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies and physicians by phone.
• Keep a clean, courteous, and professional work environment.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new scribes.
