Job summary

VillageMD in New Jersey is seeking a Scribe to accurately document patient visits in the EMR and assist physicians with basic care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role supports site operations, directs patient flow, and helps manage labs while maintaining DOH compliance.

Ideal candidates may come from CNA, MA, EMT, or Paramedic backgrounds and will bring high attention to detail, strong communication, and a compassionate bedside manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Undergraduate degree a plus.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Bilingual language skills preferred depending on site location.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate documentation of patient visits in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow, manage inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure site lab compliance with DOH regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
