Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Scribe for our Wall Township, NJ urgent care setting. The role involves capturing precise patient visit documentation in the EMR, assisting physicians with basic care, and supporting site operations to maintain efficient patient flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and flexibility for full-time hours including weekends. BLS certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Direct patient flow, inventory, and follow up on labs; ensure DOH compliance.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, x-rays or other facilities on site as needed.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional working environment; stock supplies.
