Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; undergraduate degree a plus.
• Friendly, professional with excellent bedside manner.
• Flexible with full-time schedule including a weekend day.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• English language skills required.
• Bilingual skills preferred based on site.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physician with basic patient care and medical procedures, including tests and setups.
• Ensure DOH compliance of site lab and exam rooms and maintain logs.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, x-rays, or other facilities as needed.
• Maintain a fast pace in a busy urgent care facility for the shift duration.
• Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals for follow-up care.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians under physician guidance.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional environment.
• Keep the site stocked with supplies.
