Job summary

MedStar Health is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. You will perform clinical and administrative duties under physician supervision, including patient intake, standing orders, venipuncture, and X-ray imaging.

You will document in the medical record and help maintain smooth patient flow. Join a large health system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associated degree and ARRT certification required.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• Externship in a medical or ambulatory setting.
• Maryland, Virginia, or DC state licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging and patient intake under physician supervision.
• Maintain x-ray equipment and adhere to safety standards; document in EMR and support patient flow.
• Assist with venipuncture, labs, and injections under supervision; provide care per policies.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team; support inpatient discharge as needed.
• Support other team members during downtime and contribute to a safe, efficient care environment.
